What happens when you click

Every hotel on the list has a “Check availability” button that leads to that hotel's official website. Some of those buttons carry a referral tag. Book after such a click and a partner programme may reward gainetica with a commission; the rate you pay is untouched.

The publisher's own resort

Harrah's Atlantic City Operating Company, LLC publishes gainetica and runs Harrah's Resort Atlantic City. Harrah's holds first place because it is the publisher's own resort, not because it came out ahead in any independent test. Every stay there benefits the publisher, commission or no commission.

Sister properties

Tropicana Atlantic City and Caesars Atlantic City are run by Caesars Entertainment, the group above our publisher. On the list each one is marked “Sister property (same parent group)”, because the group earns from their guests as well.

What commission cannot buy

Referral income keeps gainetica running. It never rewrites a hotel note, and no hotel can pay to appear or to climb. Places two to ten follow the editors' yardstick, set out on the editorial page.

Official sites only

Every gainetica button points at a hotel's official website. Rates, room availability and charges are set by the hotels themselves.
